The Local Play Appeal is a community fundraising campaign, administered by the Australian Institute of Play, dedicated to creating more opportunities for children to play, connect, and thrive in their neighbourhoods. Every dollar raised through this campaign goes directly towards supporting local play initiatives, such as Neighbourhood Backyards, Neighbourhood Networks and Pop-Up Loose  Parts Play sessions, and more.  These are designed to encourage active, inclusive, and accessible local play spaces for children and families.
